Marvel has apparently revealed the identity of Captain America’s new sidekick

Returning Nomad may have been revealed on the cover of an upcoming movie captain America cartoons. Marvel recently teased the return of Captain America’s friend with four potential candidates in Captain America: The Symbol of Truth. Nomad originally started out as Steve Rogers’ new identity after he ditched his twinkling star costume and shield. Since then, other personalities have adopted the title Nomad, such as Edward Verbell, Jack Monroe, Ian Rogers, and Ricky Barnes. It was thought that the big reveal would happen with more fanfare, but the announcement of the Captain America: Symbol of Truth and Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty storyline slid into who the returning Nomad would be.

RB Silva’s November cover Captain America: The Symbol of Truth #7 Features Sam Wilson and Nomad as they jump out of a plane together on a mission. The staff and the gold and blue dress match the outfit worn by Ian Rogers, the adopted son of Steve Rogers during his time in Dimension Z. Ian was born in Dimension Z and is the son of Arnim Zola, Cap’s old enemy. Instead of cooperating with his father, Ian will help Sam Wilson after his contact with the government sets up the duo. Writer Tochi Onyebuchi joins guest art Ig Guara in a story that finds Sam in a critical condition after an attack by a white wolf.

Ended in November Captain America: Sentinel Freedom #6 By writers Colin Kelly and Jackson Lansing and artist Carmen Carneiro, Steve Rogers is busy with the outer circle as the game of the century is turned upside down. The Outer Circle is a new shadow organization of villains linked to the secret behind the creation of his shield. Both captain America The titles and storylines will intersect next year in the “Cold War” series of events.

Captain America and the Winter Soldier Special #1 is a special double-volume single take from Kelly and Lanzing and artist Kev Walker revealing the origins of the Outer Circle and how their next move affects the future of the Winter Soldier.
